In order to provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process some personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).
I. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you inquire about our products and services, we will process your contact details that you provide to us, mainly through the inquiry form. These include: contact information, email address, and phone number.
Why?
We will use these to get in touch with you regarding further arrangements related to the goods and services.
On what legal basis?
This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract or taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request.
How long will we process the personal data?
If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 3 years from our last communication.
B. Processing of personal data in the case of purchase
If you make a purchase with us, we will work with the data you fill in. This includes mainly billing information: first name, last name, address, as required by the Accounting Act for up to 10 years.
Why?
We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver goods or services to you. We will also use the contact details to communicate with you about the status of your order, or in case of complaints or inquiries.
We will also process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (especially for accounting and tax purposes, or to handle complaints and similar).
On what legal basis?
This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.
How long will we process the personal data?
For the duration of the service and then according to the Accounting Act for up to 10 years from the last service provided or goods delivered.
C. Newsletters (commercial communications)
If you are a customer and did not opt out during the purchase, we will use your email address to send you our news and updates.
On what legal basis?
This is permitted by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, if you did not opt out during your purchase.
How long will we process the personal data?
For 5 years after your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via email or by contacting us at sales@dcsolutions.cz
II. WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE DATA?
Your data stays with us. However, we work with some companies or individuals who may gain access to the data because they help us run our e-shop. These include:

V. YOUR RIGHTS RELATED TO PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process, to access that data, and request updates or corrections. You may also request restriction of processing, ask for a copy of your personal data, request deletion under certain conditions, or request data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, or to seek judicial remedy.
